God And Money
Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other;
or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
This Scripture is under the category of hard saying of Jesus. Why? Well because in our society we do everything for money. We find jobs for money, we trade food, clothes, everything for Money especially our time. So then whom do we serve? We have to decide where our treasure is! I think the most important thing in life is time. Time you cannot get back and so we must see what do we invest our time in. Is it in recieving money? So we may have what we want in life?
Well when you give your life to Christ the biggest thing you fight against is time. Time in the word, time for the Lord, time to help people, time to do what God has called you to do. How can you serve God and Money?
Jesus said you can't. So you must choose. You need to choose to serve Him or wealth, riches and things. If we spend all day at a job that give us money in return are we then serving money or God. Of course many will desagree with me and say
"OH what shall we do be homeless and naked" well I am saying your time is not invested in the things of God because after the eight hour job is done do you go home and take care of your house thats filled with stuff , go dust the stuff, go wipe the stuff, mow the stuff, wash down the stuff and then after cleaning up all your stuff you go shop for more stuff and even get more cleaning stuff to keep all the stuff clean. Where does it end. It can't because when you serve money it requires
your time. So I am saying you must if you want to truly give Christ your life give it all up. Jesus told many give it to the poor and come follow me. He knew that stuff will command you to do it's will. Me personally I dont like to clean or cook so I keep it limited because I want my time to be into the Lord so when Jesus said let it all go I was too happy to let it all go. This is all I am saying all this stuff is perishing it is dying in 10 years or less it is either in your basement, thrift store or garbage so what should be important then? Jesus said with food and clothes be content. So learn to be content with a little bit.That is hard for some but learn Gods definition of being blessed. Stuff means nothing to Him because He did not die for stuff but He died for people. So the most important thing to the Lord is people. Second we need to draw people to the Lord and that is your unique gift and calling you have. If your not doing anything to draw man to God then what are you doing? Nothing. Because Jesus said if you build a house without Him you labor in vain. So your labor has to be about bringing people to Christ. Third it is hard to let this world go, but you can take steps daily to do this. Start with what you do after work. Don't plop in front of the TV. Get your bible and read it and listen to it. When you meditate on the word you will change and you will have a clear view of what Jesus wants for your life.One scripture He reveals that is most beautiful is Luke 20:21And they asked him,saying, Master, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the person of any, but teachest the way of God truly: 22Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? 23But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? 24Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's. 25And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things whichbe God's. Jesus makes us look at the coin and see the image and He says see this image of Caesar give him what has his image on it back to him but who has God's image on him man of course so give back to God what is His. That is what Jesus wants He wants us to give our lives back to Him.Now the good part is invest in something that is eternal, everlasting. Use your time to do what is RIGHT. God said Seek ye First His Kingdom and His RIGHTEOUSNESS. Ya you can work and give to the poor here and there. Hey how about you go directly to the poor and help someone get off the street>>>wow what aconcept? We dont want to take time out to do this because we are to busy serving the master mammon.I know when I left all it not only helped me but for the first time in my life I am not spending my day cleaning, cooking doing laundry, just taking care of stuff that means nothing to the Kingdom of God.
I do things now that matter, witness, preach the gospel this is the true work...
No I don't have stuff not a lot but never been more happier serving My God who truly is living and breathing and my reward is HIM and He is My Treasure. I think that is worth my time.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
1 Corinthians 13
1IF I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such [a]as is inspired by God's love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
2And if I have prophetic powers ([b]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God's love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody).
3Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or [c] in order that I may glory, but have not love (God's love in me), I gain nothing.
4Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.
5It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].
6It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
7Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].
8Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy ([d]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth].
9For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect).
10But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded).
11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside.
I posted this whole scripture because I think we all need to know and understand this scripture fully. We can have people and times in our lives who are almost like Satans terrorists. They can be family, friends, people you have helped and poured your life into them, people you work with etc..But whoever they are they almost terrorize you with their brutal words. Satan sets them up at right times to just say mean stuff, especially when you know your doing great things for the Lord. Satan is mad so he has to do it!!! So remember when satans terrorists come don't use weapons of mass destruction, Do what Jesus said do and use the sword of the spirit and put the credit of the wrong on the right person. The devil!!
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Mathew 18:21
21Then Peter came up to Him and said, Lord, how many times may my brother sin against me and I forgive him and [a]let it go? [As many as] up to seven times?
22Jesus answered him, I tell you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven!(B)
Yes forgive and Love them. This is all we owe anyone. We are taught to get them back for the pain they have caused us, by saying something evil back to them or hurting them just as much as they hurt us. Jesus wants us to give grace like He gave to us, give to them the same grace. They may not understand fully what they are doing. There may be many reasons why they do it, maybe they do not know they hurt others with their words or actions. Whatever their reason may be it does not matter, what matters is our responsibility toward them. LOVE THEM!!! YES, as a mature Christian we have to began to truly look at the word of God and say, I must MUST do what it says and bring forth fruit so everyone can see I truly am the child of the most high. Jesus does not want us to continue to make a list of evil done to us, so we can have an excuse to be get them back. We can do what the bible says and not answer them back!!!
Proverbs 26:4-5
4Answer not a [self-confident] fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him. 5Answer a [self-confident] fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes and conceit.
Don't answer people who wrong you..because they will then think they are wise in their own eyes. Did you notice how Jesus did not even answer anyone even pilot whom God himself put in charge of Rome. He was not moved by someone else's words. He was only moved by the word of God. He let Gods word control and drive Him because Gods word is the final authority. Satans trick is to have power over you by something we think is simple but it can be very harsh and hard to handle, and that is ugly words said to you. Remember sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me. Well it seems so many people are hurt more by words. Words hurt because words have power behind them "if" you let them.
Jesus said put on the armour of God because Satan is seeking whom he can devour. Satans way of devouring us is through mean words said to us.
Read the Love scripture over and over and direct it toward yourself and say..LOVE does not take account of evil done to it.. love is not rude!!! So I will not take account of evil done to me it by satans terrorists..!!! Love them and forgive them and begin to mature in Christ showing forth the fruits of the spirit through Loving them. This is true freedom.
Another great thing is pray for them and bless them, Jesus said bless those that curse us, do good to those who hate us and pray for those who use us.

How can I do that. Well remember be moved by Gods word not satans and his terrorists. Especially if they are lying about you falsely. Have you ever argued with someone and the story in their eyes becomes so exagerated and somehow the story of the fight has taken on a sort of Superman plot with it's twist and turns and adventures and in the end of the story they are the superhero and your the villian??? Can you admit that you do this also?? We all want to be superman!! Who wants to be Lex Luther?
I think that satan can really do a doozy on us and many people. He creates a whole case of lies against us that we feel like, Hey I have to prove myself.
Remember this. God said our lives are written in His book "all our days"!!
The writer of our life the person who writes us, knows the truth, the plot and so in the end in your side of your superman plot story let Jesus be the Hero and Satan be the villian. Jesus is victorious no matter what, but let His word be victorious in your life by saying " Jesus you know what happened you see all, you see the wrong done to me or the wrong I have done and so I give this care to you!"
We reap what we sow!!! Vegence is the Lords!!! Sow love so You may reap Love. Jesus will take care of those who wronged you, they will learn their lessons, just pray that God has the same grace upon them He has had toward you. I have many people who ask this, or just say it is not
of God period, they claim that christians are using
worldly music etc...

I have a couple of questions for everyone who
questions Gospel Rap.
When you were saved and began to serve the Lord,did you throw out your tv? Because the Tv has so much worldly garbage on it! How about your radio? I mean the music that is played on it is not glorifying the Lord? How about your computer? The computer has so much ponography and satanic,unbiblical information distributed on it daily,maybe we should throw them out too? Steve Jobs who make's Apple are known budhist and even Bill Gates who is the biggest supporters of Planned parenthood? What about them? Should we support them?I wonder if Christians really think about this? Let me ask you this if you were to go to Japan, or Africa, what type of christian music will they listen to hymns from America or slow soft harp christian music? I just want to know because all around the world there is Mexican, Caribean, Jamaican music, and so what should they do when they come to christ?listen to nothing? probally not they just add lyrics that uplift christ to the music their culture knows. Is their music worldly and ungodly now? Will they be more godly if they do not use Caribean music and just sing American hyms. See I feel American Christians do not have a world view and in order to serve Christ we have to remember there are a multitude of races on this earth who will and are in Christ Jesus. So when they come they are going to worship Him, because it is a need to do so. If they do it with Jamaican beats, or Japanese strumming, from African drums to country hee hawing, as long as they lift up the Name of Jesus all men will be drawn to Him. This is what Jesus Said.How about your clothing, food and products which is made in developing countries under horrible slave wages with horrible conditions from children and women? This could be from Walmart to any name brand product you use. Maybe you should toss everything out I mean the only safe thing you can do so you are not attatched to this world is move in the forest build your own house stay away from everything, hunt,fish and make your own clothes so you can make sure your not worldly? right!!! I mean that is the only way to be safe? But God said dont burry your talent right? But we know this is impossible because then we would not be doing what Jesus said do. Jesus said go into all the world and reach the Lost? How are you going to reach a person in the cities of Chicago who listen to rap? Do you think they will like to go from some Rap to choir hyms? Probally not. I have kids and they would probally not be serving the Lord today if it were not for ministries like Mary Mary, Trip Lee,Cross Movement etc...So we now have to come to realize everything has a evil root Like I just listed, but I can take a broke down bus used for driving a cult of demon worshippers to a satanic ritual and clean it up and use it to now drive a bus load of people to the street to witness for Christ or church?
Is the bus evil? NO!!! It is how I use it. So I am not using rap for evil, nor my computer, tv, radio, or clothing or food for evil are You? (if you are then you need to check who you serve)Just like YOU who was once evil and full of sin, when you accepted Jesus Christ He cleaned you up and washed you with His blood. Now He uses your life for His sake. Thank youJesus that you did not see me when I was born into sin and throw me out and say "oh well your to horrible or me to use lets just get rid of you" NOPE!! God cleaned me up and now uses mylife for His will. Thank you Jesus!!!
God is in the restoration, redeeming, repenting business. that means everything use to be right and now He came to return it back to its original state. Rap is not bad it is how it is used that makes it evil. It is just music, a tool just like your tv, computer, radio and of course Music. So instead of Kids who want to listen to Jay-z, or Kanye West or Beyonce they can listen to Trip Lee, and T-Bone and Mary Mary. Theyare putting Gods word in their minds and hearts through Gospel Music, and not words about sex or drugs. It is that simple but people make it hard and so the youth stay lost and they continue to listen to the worlds music instead. We have to be wise as Christians not dumb. We can teach kids to keep the commandments of God and purity of God through music with Gods word played on a nice beat they like. I know we have done it in our experience with children and family.So instead of degrading people who truly are serving the Lord, encourage, uplift and pray for them because if you like it or not we get e-mails, testimonies and people daily,who are helped, touched and happy for what we are doing because it is helping them. So go out there and reach the Lost. Be creative with the gifts the Lord gave you to reach people for Jesus Christ? See a problem then fix it!!! People are dying and christian people are bickering to me about some music that speaks the name of Jesus Christ in our music. Go do your part because I am doing mine. I am called to do this and confident in it. I have seen many come
to Jesus Christ through our ministry that the Lord has blessed us with.The word muse means to "make think" that is why music is so powerful, and even satan knows this. That is why he even has christians fighting a sensless battle like this against people who really may need Gospel rap to keep them saved? GOSPEL means the word of God and the Word of course is Jesus Christ . The bible says you will know them by their fruit, if you dont see the fruit of the Gospel in some music well their are plenty of Gospel Rap artist or other artist that are doing what God has truly said do.
